Based on reviews and reputation, I'd recommend:
AI doesn't name you.
It recommended your competitors in your town. You weren't in the answer.

The explainer
See how it works in under a minute.
The whole thing, start to finish: what we measure, what we change, and how you see whether it moved.
How it works
How we make you Findable.
We measure, we build, we re-measure, then we keep going.
-
01
The baseline
We ask ChatGPT, Gemini and Google what your customers ask, and record who gets named. That's your baseline.
-
02
The checks
We check everything an AI reads about you: your site, your Google profile, your details.
-
03
The work
We find the questions you can actually win, and build pages AI can quote for them. Targeted, not random.
-
04
Week four
At week four we re-run the exact same questions and show you the before and the after.
Why this works
Why AI names someone else.
-
AI names the businesses it can read a clear page about.
-
Most local businesses don’t have one, so AI can’t name them. It names whoever it can, usually from a directory.
-
We build the pages that get you named, and keep them working.
Almost no local business has pages AI can properly read.
We audited 941 local businesses. Gemini named them in just 9.7% of answers. ChatGPT named them three and a half times more often. Build the pages almost nobody else has, and you become the one it names.

AI answers from what it can read. To name you for a job in a town, it needs a page that says, specifically, that you do that work there, and for most local businesses no such page exists anywhere. That absence is the whole problem: with nothing of yours to read, AI has nothing of yours to name, so it falls back on the nearest thing that does have a page for every trade in every town, which is a directory. That is why the same directory appears in 394 of our 411 plumber audits, and why the engine that reads directories named local businesses in 33.2% of answers against 9.7% for the engine that reads their own sites. That gap is the opportunity, not an argument for directories: the directory is simply where AI goes when there is nothing of yours to read. Write the page and the fallback stops being necessary: you become the thing AI can read about, and you go from absent to named. Everything in the four weeks below serves that one job.
These are our own measurements, from 1,013 audits we ran ourselves: 941 businesses, 17 trades, 223 towns, 61,848 citations logged. Read how we measured it.
And in our own citation counts, after the two big directories, the most-cited sources are competitors’ own websites, not more directories. The businesses AI keeps naming are the ones with pages of their own for it to read.
Yext, a separate company, found the same pattern at scale: it analysed 6.8 million AI citations for local queries and reported that 86% came from sources the business already controls. The largest single share of those, 44%, was the businesses’ own websites. That study is theirs, not ours, and Yext sells listings management. See the note below.
Source: Yext, 6.8 million AI citations from location-specific queries across ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity, July–August 2025. First-party websites 44% plus listings 42%. Yext sells listings management, so this is vendor-interested research; it is used here as a supporting figure only, never a headline one.
The proof
Before and after, side by side.
You get one before we start and another at week four. Side by side, so you can see the results.
The guarantee
What you get, or your money back.
Three things, every time. We do the work, not just the report.
-
The audit
We measure who AI names for your trade in your town, in writing, before any work starts.
-
The work
Pages AI can quote, your key directory listings fixed where applicable, your Google Business Profile completed, and your details consistent everywhere it reads.
-
The re-measurement
At week four we re-run the exact same questions and send you both reports side by side.
If that number has not gone up, email us within 14 days of your four week results and we'll refund your £99.
- Same business
- Same questions
- Same engines
- Four weeks later
What we build
A website AI can actually read.
Keep your existing site, or we build you a brand new one. No extra cost either way.
A rebuild we produced for ABLM Associates, a Cambridgeshire accountancy practice.
Where your site lives
Your website, secure by design.
The weak point on most websites isn’t the site. It’s what it’s sitting on. We host yours on secure infrastructure built for the AI era: no traditional servers or databases to hack, nothing to update, nothing to fail.
Option, not default. Keep your site and nothing changes.

To you and your customers it is an ordinary website on your own domain. Nothing looks or works differently, and you still ring us when you want something changed.
It is there for when you want a new site, when we cannot get access to the one you have, or when security is the thing you care about.

What it costs
It works, or you get your £99 back.
Why £99? Because the first four weeks are where we prove whether the work is moving anything. We would rather let you see the numbers before asking you to stay.
- A full measurement, then the questions you can actually win
- Pages on your own site, built for those questions
- Your Google Business Profile and listings rewritten
- The directories AI reads for your trade, where the audit shows it matters
- Help getting more Google reviews, and replying to them
- A brand new website if you want one
The £99 covers the measurement, the pages and the work to get you named. The £29.99 keeps you there: every month we build more pages so there are more ways for people to find you, reply to your reviews, and watch the technical side of your site so nothing slips.
We measure before we start. Four weeks later we ask the same questions on the same engines.
If that number has not gone up, you can claim your £99 back.
-
Day 0
We measure. You see exactly where you stand.
-
Weeks 1–4
We build the pages and fix what AI reads, then the engines re-read you.
-
Day 28
We measure again and send your results.
-
From week 6
£29.99 a month begins. Cancel any time before it does.
Your card is saved at checkout and the monthly begins 14 days after you get your four week results: you see the numbers first, and you can cancel before it starts. If we build or move your site, hosting is £9.99 a month from the same day.
Questions
Before you ask.
What is AI visibility?
Whether AI assistants name your business when someone asks them for your trade in your town. People now ask ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI Overview "who's the best plumber near me" and get one or two names back, not ten links. AI visibility is being one of those names. The discipline is sometimes called generative engine optimisation (GEO) or answer engine optimisation (AEO); we just call it getting named.
How is this different from SEO?
SEO earns you a position in a list of links. AI visibility decides whether you exist in an answer. The overlap is real, because AI engines read much of what search engines read, but the levers are different: AI cites the sources it trusts and names businesses it can understand. Our own measurements show what it reads varies by trade, which is why we measure your market first instead of applying a generic checklist.
Can you guarantee I'll be named by ChatGPT?
We put money on it. We measure how often AI names you before we start, and four weeks later we ask the same questions on the same engines and measure again. If that number has not gone up, you can claim your £99 back. Our method is published step by step on this page and our research is public, so you can see exactly what we do and exactly how we count it. The full promise is written out above, under The guarantee, and the refund terms are on our refunds page.
How long does it take?
The audit lands first, within days. The work, pages and consistency fixes, happens over the first weeks. The re-measurement is at week four: same questions, same method, so the before and after is like for like. AI engines take time to re-read sources, which is why we do not re-measure sooner.
What do you need from me?
About twenty minutes. Your business details, what makes you different, and ideally access to your Google Business Profile so we can fix what it says at the source. If you'd rather we start without access, we can, and we'll tell you what that limits.
What happens at week four?
We re-run the exact questions from your day-0 audit and send both reports side by side: what AI said before, what it says now. Whatever the result is, you see it. That report is the evidence the guarantee stands on.
What happens after week four?
£29.99 a month. The engines re-rank constantly, so stopping means fading. Every month we build more pages so there are more ways for people to find you, reply to your reviews, and watch the technical side of your site so nothing slips. It comes out fourteen days after your four week results, so you decide with the numbers in front of you and nothing is taken while you can still claim. Cancel any time, including before the first payment.
What if it doesn't work?
Then the week-four report shows that, plainly. Email us within 14 days of your four week results and we'll refund your £99. The refund covers the £99 only, not monthly payments already taken. Our refunds page spells it out in full.
Where does your data come from?
Our own measurements: 941 UK local businesses audited across 17 trades and 223 towns, and 61,848 individual AI citations logged, using the questions real customers ask. The full findings, including what surprised us, are on our research page at /research. We publish it because the argument for measuring first is the data itself.
What does it cost?
£99 to start, then £29.99 a month, the same for every business. The £99 covers the measurement, your pages and the work to get you named, and if the number has not gone up at four weeks you can claim it back. The £29.99 keeps you there: more pages every month, your reviews replied to, and an eye on the technical side of your site. It begins fourteen days after you get your results, so the only thing you have paid while deciding is the £99. Cancel any time before it starts. If you need a website built that is included in the £99; hosting it is £9.99 a month from the same day. The full breakdown is in What it costs, above.
What is the Internet Computer?
It's where we can host your site instead of ordinary hosting. Rather than sitting on one rented server, your site runs across many computers at once, so there are no traditional servers or databases to hack and nothing to update. To you and your customers it's an ordinary website on your own domain; it just lives somewhere different. It's an option, not the default; keep your current site and nothing changes.
